Self-discovery and Emotional Healing Leads to the True You

As the season turns and flowers bloom, newness begins to surround us. During this time I am reminded of the importance of having newness within. If we have not spent time unraveling our childhood experiences and wounds, how can we ever say it's a fresh new day? For example, if a child has lost a parent, a feeling of abandonment may often carry into adulthood. This may express itself as a deep feeling of longing for someone or something to fill that void. This "past" wound is likely to lead to "present" relationship problems or issues such as overeating or overspending. When we ignore our childhood wounds indefinitely, our bodies can even begin to express our emotional pains physically.

We all carry the risk of getting stuck in patterns of automatic reactions from our past experiences and from this place we are unable to fully enjoy the beauty that exists in the moment. Thankfully every one of us has the opportunity to peel away the layers in order to become present to the newness within. And while it may be challenging, this process of self-discovery and emotional healing leads to the true you...the best you!

Until our next adjustment...

Yours in health,
